Markku Pätsi – Founder of Fascia Copper Bar and Bodywork Professional

Markku Pätsi graduated from the Tampere Sports Massage School in 1999 as both a sports and equine massage therapist. Since 2000, he has worked as a private entrepreneur in his own massage practice, treating both people and horses.

Markku has continuously expanded his expertise. In 2001, he trained in the traditional Kaustinen joint‑manipulation method, and between 2006–2009 he studied Chinese medicine, qualifying as an acupuncture therapist. He has also completed kinesiology taping training.

Before becoming a massage therapist, Markku worked in the equine industry for over ten years in six different countries, progressing from groom to trainer. During this time, he had the opportunity to care for top‑level horses in Finland as well as internationally.

Today, Markku also teaches as a part‑time instructor in the equine massage program at KEO, where he trains future professionals.
